Two Bankruptcy judges residing in Fresno “ride circuit” once a month to Bakersfield to conduct Bankruptcy hearings. Bakersfield has a beautiful new federal courthouse located at 510 19th Street. In most cases, you never meet the judge. However, all persons and entities attend a meeting of creditors when their case is reviewed by a Bankruptcy Trustee.
The Bakersfield division of the Bankruptcy Court covers all of Kern and Inyo Counties. I represent clients residing in Bakersfield, Taft, Maricopa, Buttonwillow, Wasco, McFarland, Shafter, Delano, Frazier Park, Lebec, Tehachapi, Mojave, Ridgecrest, California City, Bishop, Lone Pine and all other parts of Kern and Inyo Counties.
